Crime Branch, Jammu registered a formal case against fraudster –1) Vishal Kumar S/O Ranjeet Singh R/O DurgaSthan, near Kali Mandir Katihar Bihar A/P N-301 Homes 121, sector-121, near CNG Pump Noida U.P. 2)Nissar K.P S/O Abdul Salaam R/O 305 Puthiyapurayil 9, Koodali Panchayath KeralaA/P Nabeel Manzil Ammanapara Paryaram, near main Bus stop Kannur, Kerala andothers for duping the complainant of hard earned money on the pretext ofarranging MBBS seat to her daughter outside J&K.
Dr. Mehjabeen Shehri W/O Dr. Danish Ayub R/O 47/BC GandhiNagar Jammu A/P Medical officer MLA Hostel Jammu lodged a written complaint,alleging that the accused induced her and assured her of an MBBS seat inDehradun through a website. On assurance of the accused, the complainanttransferred an advance amount of Rs 2 lacs into his account and for theremaining amount she was asked to deposit it after the MBBS seat was allottedto her daughter. Taking cognizance,Crime Branch, Jammu initiated a preliminary enquiry and during enquiry it hasprima facie been established that the suspects in criminal connivance with eachother have opened various bank accounts and procured various mobile SIM cardson forged documents only for the purpose of cheating the complainant and other gulliblepeople and duping them of their hard earned money in order to reap benefitillegally. A formal criminal case hasbeen registered against the accused and investigation set in motion.
